UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and IISAC
Introduction
International Institute for Scientific & Academic Collaboration, Inc.(IISAC), being a US non-profit organization, is promoting United Nations’ (UNs), Seventeen sustainable development goals (SDGs) for the empowerment of humanity by upholding UN’s motto “Peace and Prosperity for People and Planet”.
The platform IISAC has created on international education based on its twenty five years of experience is capable of pooling the strengths of NGOs and institutions of higher learning in both USA and India. This arrangement is ideal for implementing some of the UNs SDGs in both countries.
IISAC’s current activities in India are in the following five flagship areas that overlap with many of the UN’s sustainable development goals, specifically SDG3, SDG4, SDG5, SDG6, SDG7, SDG8, SDG10, SDG11, SDG13, SDG15 and SDG17.
